Training can be flexible to suit your needs, whether that be a day or half day, where we build your site together, work on an existing site or even a client’s site. You will be able to take control of any WordPress website, which you can easily make changes to without having to rely on your website developer. Our WordPress training courses can be delivered 1-2-1, in a group or virtually via Skype. We can deliver the course at in house at your office, home or at a local meeting space with an internet connection.

WordPress training course overview

We’ll show you everything you need to know about WordPress and set up to all the most useful features and tools within the CMS (Content Management System). You’ll learn how to use your existing WordPress website and will be working on it throughout the day. You will learn how to add new pages, posts, make the site search engine friendly and add all of the features and functionality you need to further develop and run the site yourself.

The WordPress training course in more detail…

• Please bring your own laptop with WiFi enabled. Wireless broadband access is provided on location
• WordPress is the world’s favourite Content Management System. It’s easy to learn and you can go at your own pace throughout the day
• A full training manual written in easy to understand English!
• There’s lots to learn on this course, therefore you should be pretty comfortable using a computer & the internet, even if you have little or no prior experience with WordPress
• Arrive from 9.00am to meet your trainers, have a cup of tea or coffee be ready for to start at 9.30pm. We will cover all the basics of WordPress and have your updated site up and running
• We’ll run through everything WordPress can do in further detail. You will learn how to control the structure, look and feel, add essential features, conversion forms, track visitors, get ranked well on search engines, take easy PayPal payments, connect up your social media accounts, add a newsletter signup box, get the best out of blogging and learn how to connect with visitors plus much, much more
• The course will finish at 5.00pm. By all means stay for an informal drink at the bar and to network with the trainers and course attendees
• You’ll be given a step-by-step training manual so you can carry on where you left off with your site at any stage of the build process

Timetable

• 9.45am – Arrive for tea, coffee and registration
• 10.00am – Introduction and setup of workstations and the course begins
• 1.00pm – Break for lunch (NB – lunch is not included, however the venue offers food and beverages)
• 1.30pm – Course resumes
• 5.00pm – Course ends.  You are invited to stay for further assistance with your new site and for networking over drinks.
