Business owners and their businesses change over time. We learn more, launch new products / services and (hopefully!) get better at what we do. The question is, does your current website reflect your business as it is now?
You may have a website which you launched several years ago. The structure, design and content were right at the time. Today, this may not be the case.
I bet that there are numerous things that you would like to change on your website. Sometimes this can be fundamental – in terms of your business model and focus. Or perhaps you would like to update your site with new information, testimonial statements and customer attraction ideas.
The thing about the internet is that the technology keeps changing, doesn’t it? New websites can run faster, be much easier to use and can be considerably friendlier to search engines such as Google.
Running a business is an intensive experience. Sorting out your website is not an urgent task. However, it is certainly an important one. When the time comes to get to grips with your next generation site, I suggest that the place to start is marketing principles.
If you would like to discuss the issues raised in this blog, by all means get in touch.
